Two Arrested After Man Pulls Knife at Strip Club

A man and woman from New Mexico were arrested after the man pulled a knife on a bouncer at the Golden Banana.

Peabody police arrested a pair from New Mexico after a fight broke out in the Golden Banana around midnight on Thursday.

Police were called to the scene at the Route 1 strip club at 12:22 a.m. Jan. 31 by a bouncer who said a man pulled a knife on him. The bouncer said he was not attacked, however, and was just trying to break up an argument between the man and a blond female at the club.

The pair then left the club, walking south down the northbound side of Route 1, according to the bouncer.
