Peabody Teen Charged With Early-Morning Car Break-ins in Danvers
About $90 were taken from cars.
Two 19-year-olds have been charged with breaking into cars on Riverside Street in Danversport early Thursday morning.
Mason Boulay, 19, of 1 Dustin St., Peabody, and Gabrielle Rohde, 19, of 13 Barnard Hawkes Court, Marblehead, were charged with breaking and entering into motor vehicles and receiving stolen property. They pleaded not guilty in Salem District Court on Thursday, reported the Salem News.
A resident reported hearing noises and saw a person opening car doors at about 3 a.m. Thursday. Police arrived and spotted Boulay, who the resident identified as the person she saw going into cars. Police also spoke to Rohde, who said she was in the area to visit a friend, but didn’t know the friend’s name.
