Revere Man Charged with Attempted Murder in Domestic Incident

The following is an excerpt from the Peabody Police Department's log:

Friday, Aug. 9

  • At 4:06 p.m. police arrested two individuals on shoplifting charges at Macy's at the North Shore Mall. Police arrested Yan Alvarez, 30, of 116 W. 197th St., Apt. 4G, Bonx, NY, and Brayan Estrella, 23, of 197 Valentine Lane, Apt. 1F, Yonkers, NY. Both were charged with shoplifting by concealing over $100. 
  • At 5:09 p.m. police arrested a Peabody man on numerous outstanding warrants during a shoplifting incident at the North Shore Mall. Police arrested John M. Mannion, Jr., 27, of 5 Arielle Lane. He was arrested on outstanding warrants for uttering a false prescription and operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license. 
  • At 10:02 p.m. a caller reported the theft of a catalytic converter in the North Shore Mall parking lot. 
  • At 10:49 p.m. a caller reported a domestic assault at Wagner Street and an ambulance was requested for a female victim. Police summonsed Christopher J. Troville, Sr., 40, of 64 Revere Beach Boulevard, Revere after searching for him at various addresses. Troville was charged with assault and battery domestic and attempted murder.  

Saturday, Aug. 10

  • 5:48 a.m. a caller reported that a man was going through his vehicle on Gardner Street. The caller knocked on his window and the man fled the scene. Police eventually caught up with the suspect and arrested him. Police arrested Nathaniel Gaye, Jr., 18, of 14 Alden Road. He was charged with five counts of breaking and entering into a motor vehicle, nighttime for a felony and receiving stolen property over $250.
  • 11:21 a.m. a motor vehicle accident was reported at Lupo's Italian Kitchen and Pizzeria on Lowell Street. No injuries were reported. 
  • 1:55 p.m. threats were reported coming from a moped rider on Pinecrest Avenue. A resident was served a no trespass notice but was still driving by on his moped. 
  • 2:30 p.m. a caller reported fraud on Bartholomew Terrace. A resident stated that someone had accessed her checking account to a pay a Capital One account. 
  • 3:06 p.m. a motor vehicle accident with injuries was reported on Route 114 near the BMW dealership. An ambulance was requested for one individual involved. 
  • 3:32 p.m. a car that hit a tree was reported on Fairview Avenue.
