Police Log: Woman Charged After Taking 'Obscene Photo'

Friday, July 11

At 12:18 p.m., police disposed of two hypodermic needles found at Leather City Commons.

At 3:56 p.m., police responded to a one-car accident at Gardner and Margin streets. An elderly drive struck a curb. The woman’s daughter picked her up and took her to the hospital. The vehicle was towed.

At 4:44 p.m., police received a call about a hawk in Coast Maintenance Supply on Summit Street. Animal control responded and tried to get the hawk out of the building, but was unsuccessful. The business left water for the hawk.

At 6:43 p.m., police arrested Ilir Bualli, 38, 142 Shore Drive, Apt. K, Peabody, and charged the person with possessing a Class B drug. Police made the arrest during a traffic stop on Foster Street.

At 7:30 p.m., police arrested Timothy A. Robertson, 26, 22 Fayette St., Beverly, and charged him with possessing a Class A drug and on multiple warrants for a marked lanes violation, disorderly conduct, failing to signal, speeding, operating a motor vehicle negligently, failing to stop/yield, failing to stop for police, resisting arrest, assault, wanton destruction of property more than $250, two counts of assault an battery with a dangerous weapon, violating an abuse prevention order and operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license. Police also arrested Darren Santos, 26, 4 Castle Circle, Peabody, and charged him with possessing a Class A drug. Police made the arrests during a traffic stop on Walnut Street.

At 8:24 p.m., police summonsed a 56-year-old South Yarmouth resident to court and charged him with violating an abuse prevention order.

At 9:53 p.m., police arrested Andrew M. Noya, 27, 159 Fort Ave., Apt. 1, Salem, and charged him on possessing a Class B drug, possessing a Class A drug and on a warrant for possessing a Class B drug. Police also summonsed a 27-year-old Salem woman to court and charged her with operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license and speeding.

 

Saturday, July 12

At 3:51 a.m., police arrested Steven Talkowsky, 58, 7 Fairmount Road, Peabody, and charged him on a warrant for operating a motor vehicle with a revoked/suspended license and operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license. Police made the arrest during a traffic stop at Route 128 and Lowell Street.

At 6:58 a.m., an officer found two vandalized motor vehicles on Innis Road. One vehicle’s front windshield and rear window were smashed and another vehicle had a windshield broken.

At 1:07 p.m., police summonsed a 46-year-old Danvers woman to court and charged her with photographing, videoing or taking surveillance of a partially nude or nude person. Police summonsed the woman after a report of someone taking an obscene photograph at the YMCA.

At 2:04 p.m., police summonsed a 32-year-old Lawrence resident to court and charged the suspect with shoplifting by concealing merchandise more than $100. Police summonsed the person after a report of a shoplifter at H&M.

At 3:24 p.m., police arrested Jeffrey A. Roub, 51, 129 Lowell St., Apt. 6, Peabody, and charged him with domestic assault and battery.

At 5:28 p.m., police helped three homeless people find shelter for the night. There were no beds available at local shelters, but police were able to get a discounted rate at Marriott for them. Officers also gave them two $50 Stop & Shop cards so they could buy food.

At 8:26 p.m., police received a call about a stolen pocketbook at Toys R Us. Police took a report.

 

Sunday, July 13

At 10:06 a.m., police arrested Stephen M. Lyons, 54, 60 Central St., second floor, Peabody, and charged him on warrants for walking/riding on a railroad track and trespassing. Police made the arrest on Walnut Street.
