Police Log: Stoneham Man Found With Drugs in Sears Bathroom

Thursday, March 6
At 2:10 p.m., police responded to a two-car accident at Lowell and Summit streets. There were no reported injuries. One car was towed.
At 2:14 p.m., police arrested Matthew E. Beltram, 21, 41 Tamarock Terrace, Stoneham, and charged him with possessing a Class B drug with the intent to distribute. Police made the arrest after a report of possible drug activity in a Sears bathroom.
At 3:23 p.m., police summonsed a Nordstrom employee to court and charged her with larceny more than $250 by false pretense. Police made the arrest after a report of a theft by an employee at Nordstrom.

At 3:47 p.m., police arrested Mokeddem Ahmed, 19, 185 Essex St., Melrose, and charged him with shoplifting more than $100 by concealing merchandise. Police made the arrest after a report of a shoplifter at Macy’s Men’s and Furniture Store.
At 5:07 p.m., police arrested Joseph M. Castiello, 43, 370 Ferry St., Apt. 3, Everett, and charged him with operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license and operating a motor vehicle without an inspection sticker. Police made the arrest at Lake Street and Butternut Avenue.

Friday, March 7
At 3:37 a.m., police arrested Katrina Marie Mason, 20, 22 Windsor Ave., Lynn, and charged her with operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of liquor, possessing an open container of alcohol in a motor vehicle, being under 21 and possessing liquor and furnishing a false name/Social Security number. Police made the arrest on Glen Drive.
At 6:02 a.m., police summonsed a 56-year-year-old Essex man to court and charged him with violating an abuse prevention order.
At 7:36 a.m., police arrested Walter Lopez, 23, 51 School St., Apt. 3, Lynn, and charged him with operating a motor vehicle with a suspended registration, operating a motor vehicle without a license and operating an uninsured motor vehicle. Police made the arrest during a traffic stop at Christina Drive and Summit Street.
At 10:25 a.m., police summonsed a 40-year-old Peabody woman to court and charged her with possessing a Class E drug. Police summonsed the woman during a traffic stop on Crowninshield Street.
