Police Log: Shoplifter Steals $2,700 Worth of Burberry Clutches

Tuesday, May 27

At 4:46 p.m., a Nordstrom employee reported that someone stole six Burberry clutches valued at $2,700. Police took a report.

At 6:39 p.m., police arrested Jennifer A. Dambrosio, 20, 2 Bellingham Court, Middleton, and Bianca R. Lorenzetti, 19, 3 Pond View Road, Peabody, and charged them with shoplifting more than $100 by concealing merchandise. Police made the arrest after a report of two shoplifters at J.C. Penney.

At 10:11 p.m., police notified nearby departments after a driver struck two parked cars on Walnut Street and fled the scene.

Wednesday, May 28

At 10:36 a.m., a CVS employee reported a shoplifter who tried to steal $8 worth of merchandise. The store said it would handle the matter.

At 12:03 p.m., police arrested Danielle J. Steenbruggen, 33, 286 Newbury St., Apt. 25, Peabody, and charged her on a warrant for operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license (subsequent offense).

At 12:16 p.m., police responded to Route 128 and Andover Street after a report of a man walking with a rifle who went into the woods. Police found the man did not have a rifle, but was walking with a cane.

At 1:49 p.m., police summonsed a 20-year-old Peabody man to court and charged him with shoplifting less than $100. Police summonsed the man after a report of a shoplifter at Macy’s.
