Police Log: Salem Man Arrested After Accident
Tuesday, Feb. 18
At 2:12 p.m., a Prospect Street resident reported an injured deer in the woods. Police advised him to let it be. The deer was injured, but mobile.
At 2:16 p.m., Lahey Hospital & Medical Center security reported that a woman obtained medication using three different names on three different occasions.
At 2:49 p.m., police responded to Northshore Road about a car in a ditch. There were no injuries.

At 2:51 p.m., police responded to Margin Street after a driver got stuck in a snow bank.
At 2:59 p.m., police received a call about a car stuck in a snow bank on Andover Stret. Police were unable to locate the car.

At 3:02 p.m., police received a call after two cars slid into a ditch on Northshore Road. There were no injuries. Two vehicles were towed.
At 3:25 p.m., police received a call after a van got stuck in a snow bank on Lowell Street.
At 3:38 p.m., an officer helped a driver of a tractor-trailer stuck in the snow.
At 4:04 p.m., police arrested Jared Weymouth, 27, 65 Palmer St., Apt. 1, Salem, and charged him with operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license and a warrant for operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license. Police made the arrest after a call of a plow striking a vehicle on Boulderbrook Road.
At 4:19 p.m., a person reported a car parked on Elm Street for days, which was hampering snow removal. Police towed the vehicle.
At 5:44 p.m., police received a call about a large pothole that caused a flat tire on Lynn Street. Police notified the Department of Public Services.
At 8:54 p.m., police summonsed a 21-year-old Peabody man to court and charged him with operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license and failure to use care in starting, stopping and turning. Police summonsed the man after a car accident on Lynn Street. There were on injuries in the crash.
Wednesday, Feb. 19
At 1:24 a.m., police notified the Department of Public Services of a large pothole on Lynnfield Street. The DPS informed police that it was on the list for repair.
At 6:37 a.m., police alerted the Department of Public Services of icy conditions on Winter Street.
At 6:53 a.m., after responding to a two-car accident, police notified the Department of Public Services that Washington Street was icy.
At 8:52 a.m., a driver hit a pothole and flattened a tire on Lynnfield Street.
At 9:09 a.m., police notified the Department of Public Services of another pothole on Lynnfield Street.
At 12:15 p.m., police had a vehicle towed that was parked in “a bad spot” on Andover Street.
