Police Log: Police Make Two Arrests

Sunday, March 30

At 2:30 p.m., a Sears employee reported two shoplifters. The store handled the matter and two people were given no trespass orders for a year.

At 4:28 p.m., a J.C. Penney employee reported shoplifters. The store handled the matter.

At 4:49 p.m., police received a call about a man looking into cars parked on Warren Street. Police responded, but were unable to find the man.

At 9:47 p.m., police arrested Sean Walter O’Brien, 19, 8 Shelton Road, Apt. 2, Swampscott, and charged him on a warrant for disturbing the peace. Police made the arrest during a traffic stop on Foster Street.

At 10:13 p.m., police arrested Angel Sanchez, 22, 56 Commercial St., Apt. 2, Lynn, and charged him with failing to stop/yield and operating a motor vehicle without a license. Police also summonsed a 28-year-old Lynn man and charged him with allowing an unlicensed person to operate a motor vehicle. Police made the arrest during a traffic stop on Newbury Street.

Monday, March 31

At 11:35 a.m., police summonsed a 71-year-old Melrose man to court and charged him with operating a motor vehicle without a license and operating a motor vehicle without a registration. Police summonsed the man during a traffic stop on Railroad Avenue.
