Police Log: Police Make Four Arrests

Sunday, June 8

At 3:31 p.m., police arrested Starmeka Monique Kelly, 30, homeless, and charged her with shoplifting by concealing merchandise and operating a motor vehicle without a license. Police made the arrest after a report of a shoplifter at Shaws.

At 8:19 p.m., police arrested Patricia M. McCormack, 45, 278 Newbury St., Apt. 11, Peabody, and charged her with domestic assault and battery and resisting arrest.

Monday, June 9

At 12:08 a.m., police responded to a burglary alarm at Descenza Jewelers. State Police reported seeing a car leaving the area at a high rate of speed.

At 1:14 a.m., police summonsed a 47-year-old Beverly man to court and charged him with two counts of assault and battery with a dangerous weapon (shod foot) and assault to intimidate.

At 9:54 a.m., police received a call from First Avenue after 40 service jacks, 40 braces and 20 out riggers were stolen. The items were valued at $3,700.  Police plan to summons a 44-year-old Lynnfield man to court for larceny more than $250 and trespassing.

At 10:37 a.m., police arrested Judith L. Carpentier, 25, 356 Jefferson Ave., Apt. 1, Salem, and, charged her on a warrant for trespassing, and Ellen Pelletier, 53, homeless, and charged her on a warrant for malicious destruction of property, criminal harassment, threatening to commit a crime, vandalizing property and intimidating a witness/juror/police/court official.

At 11:16 a.m., a Peabody resident reported someone withdrew $400 from his ATM account.
