Police Log: Pedestrian Struck by Car on Washington Street

Thursday, March 13

At 4:56 p.m., police notified the Department of Public Services about large potholes on Essex Center Drive.

At 6:08 p.m., police called the DPS about several large potholes on Pine Street.

At 7:23 p.m., an Apple Store employee reported a shoplifter, but the suspect left before police arrived.

At 7:23 p.m., police responded to Latitude Sports Club after someone smashed a car window and stole a purse.

At 11:19 p.m., police received a call after a coyote mauled a deer. Police called the DPS to remove the dead deer.

Friday, March 14

At 8:50 a.m., a Peabody resident reported identity fraud.

At 11:26 a.m., police responded to Margin Street about two men fighting about a blocked driveway.

At 1:19 pm., police responded to Washington Street at Allens Lane after a car struck a pedestrian. The pedestrian, a 45-year-old man, was taken to Salem Hospital.

At 1:26 p.m., a Dalton Court resident reported identity theft.
