POLICE LOG: Peabody Man Charged With Drunk Driving

The following information was provided by the Peabody Police Department. Where charges are mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction.

Sunday, Feb. 2

At 3:37 p.m., police arrested John Henry, 37, 23 Temple St., Apt. 13, Nashua, NH, and charged him with disorderly conduct and threatening to commit a crime. Police made the arrest on Walnut Street after the report of an altercation at Gregory’s Lounge.

At 3:52 p.m., police summonsed a 43-year-old Everett man to court for operating a motor vehicle without a license. Police pulled him over at Central and Walnut streets because of a red light violation.

At 6:15 p.m., police arrested Peter F. Maglione, 44, 11 Sutton St., Peabody, and charged him with operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of liquor (second offense), leaving the scene of a property damage accident and disorderly conduct. Police responded to State Street about a hit-and-run accident. An officer found heavy damage done to a parked car. Police arrested Maglione.

At 6:25 p.m., police responded to Marrs Park concerning a car with two people who might have been engaged in drug activity. The car left before police arrived.

At 9:13 p.m., a Newbury Street resident reported that she had a party on Jan. 31 and she noticed since then that her prescription medication, wedding ring and engagement ring are missing.

At 10:38 p.m., police responded to Foster Street concerning a fight in a parking lot. The people involved left before police arrived.


Monday, Feb. 3

At 2:50 a.m., police received a call from Earley Road after someone threw a rock through two car windows.

At 9:33 a.m., police responded to Central Street after someone broke into a car and stole 10 pairs of used Air Jordan sneakers.

At 12:29 p.m., police received a call from a Newbury Street business about a larceny by an employee.
