Police Log: Peabody Man Charged With Dealing Drugs

Friday, May 30

At 2:12 p.m., Northshore Mall security reported finding graffiti, possibly gang-related, in a men’s restroom. Police documented the graffiti.

At 2:41 p.m., police arrested Megan E. Hancock, 27, 230 Revere St., Apt. 1, Revere, and charged her with shoplifting more than $100 by concealing merchandise. Police made the arrest after a report of a shoplifting at Macy’s.

At 8:22 p.m., police arrested Patrick Arthur O’Donnell, 23, 5 Bartholomew Terrace, Peabody, and charged him with distributing a Class B drug and three counts of possessing a Class B drug with the intent to distribute, and summonsed a 23-year-old Peabody man and charged him with possessing a Class B drug. Police made the arrest on Lynnfield Street.

At 8:41 p.m., police summonsed a 21-year-old Peabody man to court and charged him with selling/delivering liquor to a person under 21 and two 18-year-old Peabody residents to court and charged them with being a person under 21 possessing liquor. Police summonsed the men outside South Peabody Liquor Mart.

At 10:58 p.m., police arrested Cesar Chavez, 20, 87 Sheridan St., Apt. 1R, Lynn, and charged him with operating a motor vehicle without a license and failing to stop-yield. Police made the arrest during a traffic stop on Lake Street.

Saturday, May 31

At 2:25 a.m., police arrested Dominique Danca, 40, 11 Blake St., Beverly, and charged her with operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of liquor, a marked lanes violation and failing to stop/yield. Police made the arrest during a traffic stop on Washington Street.

At 9:49 a.m., police responded to Margin Street after a pedestrian was struck. The pedestrian was taken to Lahey.

At 9:49 a.m., police arrested Michael John Havens, 48, 28 Harris St., Marblehead, and charged him on a warrant for assault and threatening to commit a crime.

At 11:32 a.m., Northshore Mall security reported that about $1,500 worth of hair accessories were stolen from a kiosk overnight.

At 8:40 p.m., a Sheffield Drive resident reported that his house has been egged twice.

At 9:36 p.m., a Nordstrom employee reported sunglasses were stolen.

At 10:42 p.m., police arrested Chalonda M. Bergmann, 23, 29 Church St., Apt. 1, Gloucester, and charged her with disorderly conduct, trespassing and resisting a arrest. Police made the arrest on Howley Street.

At 11:45 p.m., police summonsed a 14-year-old to court and charged him with assault and battery on a police office and disorderly conduct.

 

Sunday, June 1

At 12:12 a.m., police arrested Geoffrey M. MacDonald, 22, 41 Hancock St., Apt. 12, Salem, and charged him with operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of liquor. Police made the arrest after a report of a car striking a pole and fire hydrant at Evans Road and Margin Street.

At 7:44 a.m., police responded to a two-car accident at Lowell and Endicott streets. One person was taken to a hospital. One vehicle was towed.

At 10:42 a.m., police received a 911 hang-up from a Honey Lane residence. Police called back the number and the resident said he plugged in an old fax machine, which may have inadvertently called 911.

At 11:44 a.m., a Shaw’s employee reported someone stole diapers and $220 worth of baby formula.

At 1:20 p.m., police responded to a three-car accident at Lowell and School streets. There were no injuries. One vehicle was towed.
