Police Log: Peabody Man Charged on Warrant for Multiple Offenses

Thursday, March 27

At 2:27 p.m., police responded to a two-car accident at Lowell and King streets. There were no reported injuries, but both cars were towed.

At 2:32 p.m., a Peabody resident reported someone fraudulently took $397 out of her bank account. Police took a report.

At 4:11 p.m., a person reported a woman making sexual gestures toward oncoming traffic on Newbury Street. Police responded, but could not find the woman, who was described as being in her 50s. Police were called again at 4:50 p.m. when the woman was spotted making gestures by the jughandle. She left before police arrived the second time too.

At 6:03 p.m., police summonsed a 51-year-old Marblehead man to court and charged him with operating an uninsured motor vehicle and operating an unregistered motor vehicle. Police summonsed the man during a traffic stop on Lynnfield Street.

At 8:08 p.m., a Central Street resident reported that $161 was taken from her home. She said multiple people have access to her room. Police took a report.

At 8:54 p.m., a Highland Park resident reported a past burglary. Someone entered the home through an unlocked kitchen window and stole $780 from a kitchen drawer. Police took a report.

 

Friday, March 28

At 5:31 a.m., a driver reported that another vehicle tried to run her off the road at Exit 25A off Route 128 South. There were no injuries.

At 8:55 a.m., an employee at a Sylvan Street business reported that a boat motor and vehicle motor were stolen from the side of the building overnight.

At 12:05 p.m., the owner of a Walnut Street business reported possible drug activity occurred behind his business afterhours. He requested police make additional patrols of the area.

At 12:14 p.m., police arrested Joshua Boulay, 28, 252 Newbury St., Apt. 43, Peabody, an charged him on a warrant for five counts of leaving the scene of a motor vehicle accident with property damage, negligent operation of a motor vehicle, breaking and entering of a vehicle/boat in the nighttime to commit a felony, disorderly conduct, larceny less than $250, failing to stop for police, possessing burglarious instruments, operating a motor vehicle without a license, operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of liquor and assault and battery. Police made the arrest after a report of a shoplifter at Walmart in Danvers.
