Police Log: Officers Make Five Arrests
Friday, July 18
At 1:34 p.m., police arrested Albert J. Talbot, 55, 41R Highland Ave., Salem, and charged him with operating a motor vehicle with a revoked license and making an unsafe lane change. Police also summonsed a 57-year-old Peabody man to court and charged him with allowing an unlicensed person to operate a motor vehicle. Police made the arrest during a traffic stop at Lowell Street and Apple Hill Road.
At 1:43 p.m., police arrested Nelson Amilcar Chilel, 21, 357 Essex St., Apt. 2, Lynn, and charged him with failing to stop for police, operating a motor vehicle without a license and speeding. Police made the arrest during a traffic stop on Northshore Road.
At 4:37 p.m., police received a call from Lenscrafters after a person left the store with about $600 worth of glasses.

At 8:52 p.m., a Macy’s employee reported two shoplifters. The store handled the matter.
At 10:13 p.m., a Glen Drive resident reported a dirt bike was stolen from a shed. Someone cut off a lock to open the shed.

At 10:35 p.m., police arrested Donald P. Dinicola, 34, 21 Mace Place, Apt. 2, Lynn, and charged him on a warrant for stalking and assault with a dangerous weapon.
Saturday, July 19
At 4:29 a.m. a Franklin Street resident reported someone beeping a car horn and asking to be let into a home. Police spoke to the man and told him to go inside for the night.
At 1:22 p.m., a Lowell Street resident reported a motorcycle was stolen from his residence.
At 5:03 p.m., a Peabody resident reported identity theft. The resident said he received a fraudulent bill for $233.36.
At 7:19 p.m., police summonsed a 19-year-old Salem resident to court and charged the person with shoplifting by concealing merchandise. Police summonsed the person after a report of a shoplifting at Sears.
At 9:42 p.m., police arrested Charles Ricci, 53, 176 Newbury St., Apt. 6, Peabody, and charged him with domestic assault and battery and assault.
Sunday, July 20
At 11:53 a.m., police arrested James W. Adams, 32, 7 Dooling Circle, Peabody, and charged him on a warrant for burglary and grand theft.
