Police Log: Lawrence Man Charged With Disturbing a Funeral Procession

At 2:41 p.m., police arrested Joseph Christopulos, 37, 44 Veterans Memorial Drive, Peabody, and charged him with domestic assault and battery and intimidating a witness.

At 2:54 p.m., a Hollister employee reported a past larceny of merchandise. Police took a report.

At 5:23 p.m., police summonsed a 39-year-old Revere woman to court and charged her with assault and battery. Police summonsed the woman after a report of a person assaulted on Russell Street.

At 7:43 p.m., police summonsed a 73-year-old Topsfield woman to court and charged her with operating a motor vehicle with a revoked registration and operating an uninsured motor vehicle, and a 45-year-old Topsfield resident and charged him with operating a motor vehicle with a revoked registration and operating an uninsured motor vehicle. Police summonsed the two people after a traffic stop at Lake and Belfast streets.

At 10:24 p.m., police placed a 35-year-old Peabody man into protective custody after the report of an intoxicated, incoherent man sitting outside Bunghole Liquors.

At 11:20 p.m., police arrested Jonathon Hoskyns, 23, 10 Holten St., Apt. 2, Peabody, and charged him on a warrant for shoplifting by asportation (second offense).

 

Friday, May 23

At 10:50 a.m., police summonsed a 29-year-old Lawrence man to court and charged him with disturbing a funeral procession. Police summonsed the man on Central Street after he interrupted a procession.
