At 3:58 p.m., police responded to Pierpont Park after a report of a large fight. Police dispersed the youths.
At 11:25 p.m., police arrested Elvis A. Perez, 39, 28C Federal St., Apt. 3, Salem, and charged him with operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license. Police made the arrest during a traffic stop at Washington and Hourihan streets.
At 11:53 p.m., police received a call about a possibly intoxicated man in a Red Sox hoodie stopping traffic on Washington Street. The man left before police arrived. The police responded a short time later when the man returned, but the man left again.
