Police Log: Driver Taken to Hospital After Striking Telephone Pole
Sunday, July 13
At 2:18 p.m., police summonsed a 44-year-old Peabody resident to court and charged him on two counts for threatening to commit a crime.
At 7:33 p.m., police responded to Westview Circle after a report of an unknown projectile that landed on a person’s deck. The projectile was described as rubber and metal melted together. Police found it was a type of parachute fireworks device.

Monday, July 14
At 5:47 a.m., police responded to Walnut and Howley streets after a car struck a telephone pole. The pole moved four to five minutes. A 22-year-old woman was taken to Salem Hospital. The vehicle was towed.
At 6 a.m., police arrested Christopher Harris, 28, 8121 Crane Brook Way, Peabody, and charged him with domestic assault and battery.

At 10:07 a.m., police arrested Alicia L. Pacini, 22, 111R Main St., Apt. 11, Peabody, and charged her on a warrant for larceny less than $250 and assault and battery with a dangerous weapon.
At 11:01 a.m., a Brooksby Village Drive resident reported jewelry was stolen from a residence. Police took a report.
