Police Log: Catalytic Converter Stolen
Wednesday, July 9
At 4:29 p.m., a Peabody resident reported that her bank account was hacked and someone tried to steal $1,000.
At 5:18 p.m., Avis Car Rental reported that someone stole a catalytic converter. Police took a report.

Thursday, July 10
At 5:33 a.m., police arrested Stephanie A. Silva, 26, 129 Lowell St., Apt. 26, Peabody, and charged her on a warrant. Police made the arrest after a report of someone possibly sleeping in a pickup truck on Lowell Street.
At 8:01 a.m., a Peabody resident reported credit card fraud. Someone used a debit card for more than $2,400.

At 8:59 a.m., police summonsed a 24-year-old Haverhill resident to court and charged her with operating an uninsured motor vehicle and operating a motor vehicle with a revoked registration. Police summonsed the woman during a traffic stop on Lowell Street.
At 10:09 a.m., police received a call about a hypodermic needle on Lowell Street. Police disposed of the item.
At 10:47 a.m., an employee at Century House reported metal trays were stolen from outside the restaurant. Two large baking sheets were taken. They may have been mistaken for trash.
At 1:04 p.m., a Sycamore Circle resident reported finding a hypodermic needle in the area. Police received a similar call from Forest Street a half-hour later. Police disposed of the needles.
