Police Arrest Man Trying to Break into Hospital

The following is an excerpt from the Peabody Police Department activity logs:
Tuesday, July 23

  • 2:10 p.m. a caller reported a white meat truck selling meaet in the area of Columbus Road.
  • 3:51 p.m. a road rage incident was reported on at Burton's Grill at the North Shore Mall. 
  • 3:58 p.m. a caller reported a hit and run motor vehicle accident with property damage on Littles Lane. 
  • 4:04 p.m. JC Penney reported a shoplifter at the North Shore Mall. The store handled the matter internally. 
  • 4:21 p.m. police arrested Alesandro Mednez, 29, of 47 Coliln St., Apt. 4. Mendez was charged with domestic assault and battery. 
  • 6 p.m. a two-car motor vehicle accident involving injuries was reported at the Hess Gas Station on Lowell Street. One vehicle was towed and the operator was transported to Lahey Peabody by Atlantic Ambulance. 
  • 9:21 p.m. a caller reported that someone was trying to steal gas from a property on Lakeland Park Drive. An officer reported that the owner arrived on the scene and an employee was trying to use the gasoline at the business for his own motor vehicle. The business owner did not wish to pursue the matter. 
  • 10:43 p.m. police arrested Anthony Son, 38, of 42 Greenwood Road. Son was charged with domestic assault and battery. 
Wednesday, July 24
  • 3:41 a.m. the security at Kindred Hospital reported a white male wearing a ski mask trying to break into the hospital. Police arrested Stefan Kenehan-Letizia, 27, of 10 Myrtle St., Apt. 3, Beverly. Kenehan-Letizia was charged with breaking and entering in the night for a felony and receiving stolen property over $250. 
  • 6:54 a.m. a caller reported a female that drove her vehicle into a building on Webster Street. An officer stated that there was no damage to the wall of the building. However, the operator was summonsed for operating a motor vehicle while not duly licensed. 
  • 7:02 p.m. a caller reports that her tires were slashed and her car was keyed on Mount Vernon Street.
