Pet Drama and Burglary

The following are excerpts from reports in the Peabody Police Department press log.

Monday, April 8

At 2:11 p.m., a caller on Pine Street reported that a man from Pinebrook Estates lets his dog defecate on her property and does not clean up after.

At 2:21 p.m., a caller on Elmwood Circle reported that her solid black female cat, Veronica, is missing. Veronica is microchipped and was last seen in the area of Elmwood Circle.

Tuesday, April 9

At 10:49 a.m., New England Veterinary Clinic reported that someone brought in an injured cat she found in Peabody. The cat is described as a DSH, female, and Tortoiseshell-colored. She is not microchipped.

At 12:48 p.m., a caller on Foster Street reported that the dogs from another condo in the complex are always running off leash on condo grounds and in condo hallways.

At 1:34 p.m., a caller reported a man pacing on a roof of a deli on Newbury Street. The man turned out to be a roof construction worker.

At 2 p.m., a caller on Baldwin Street reported a burglary.

At 7:31 p.m., a caller on James Street reported that she wanted her sone removed from her home because of a recent disturbance. Korey Avallon, 26, of 17 James St., Peabody, was charged with domestic assault.
