Peabody Teen Charged with Assaulting Mother

The following are excerpts from the Peabody police log. An arrest or charge does not indicate a conviction.

Fri., April 25

  • 5:25 a.m. Police said they found graffiti on a guardrail on Andover Street.
  • 7 a.m. Austin Boga, 19, of 204 Lynn St., was charged with speeding, operating to endanger, and failure to stop for police. Police said he was arrested after a caller said he was driving more than 90 mph on Bartholomew Street.
  • 8:57 a.m. A loud motorcycle was reported on Hancock Street.
  • 9:40 a.m. A man reported his girlfriend was missing.
  • 11:52 a.m. A neighborhood dispute was reported on Main Street,
  • 12:34 p.m. A lost iPad was turned into police. An officer located its owner.
  • 1:47 p.m. A theft was reported at Giblees Menswear.
Thur., April 24
  • 2:06 p.m. Police issued a citation to a driver for scratching a scratch ticket while driving.
  • 2:27 p.m. A road rage incident was reported on Andover Street.
  • 2:49 p.m. A 15-year-old teenager was arrested on Northend Street after allegedly attacking her mother. The teen was charged with assault and battery.
  • 4:12 p.m. Two shoplifters were caught at Sears on Andover Street. No charges were pressed, though they were banned from the store for three years.
  • 10:09 p.m. Police broke up a loud party on Aderene Road.
