Peabody Police Honor Sgt. Argo
A patch on Car 45 commemorates Argo's service to Peabody.
Sgt. Argo, Peabody's K9 for nearly 10 years, is being remembered with a new patch on Car 45.
The cruiser, which once served as Argo's car, was recently refurbished with the new patch "commemorating his service as it shall forever," according to Peabody Police's Facebook page.
Argo died last August. He served Peabody from 2001-2011 and was cared for by Sgt. Eric Zawacki and Detective Stephanie Lane.
The Peabody Police Department put its flags at half mast in recognition of Argo's service to Peabody last August.
