Peabody Man Arrested for Loud Ruckus in Court
The man was there to support his friend, but was then arrested and charged himself after causing a loud ruckus and storming out of the courtroom and almost hitting people with the door.
A Peabody man, who was in court to support a friend, was arrested himself after causing a loud ruckus in Salem District Court on Monday and almost hitting two people when he slammed open the door to the courtroom.
The Salem News reports that Kenneth Hodgdon, 45, of 30 Elaine Ave., Peabody, was taken into custody by a Salem officer there for the case. He was charged with disrupting a court proceeding and intimidating a witness.
According to the Salem News, Hodgdon's outburst could be heard clear across the first floor of the Federal Street complex.
