Downtown Parking Regulations Will Be 'Strictly Enforced' Starting on March 1

Police are offering downtown parking stickers.

You’ll need to pay attention to the signage when you’re parking downtown starting on March 1.

Peabody Police said on Monday that all downtown parking regulations will be "strictly enforced" starting on Saturday, March 1.

Police are offering downtown parking stickers for downtown businesses from Monday-Friday between 8:30 a.m. and 4 p.m. at Peabody Police Department, Traffic Division, 6 Allens Lane, Peabody.

Qualified applicants may purchase stickers for $100. You must be either employed or an employer of a downtown business.

A driver's license and registration must be shown when purchasing stickers as well as a letter from the employer verifying employment at the business and/or employer contact information.

There are no mail order sales.

The parking spaces are limited and will be sold on a first come, first serve basis.

Stickers can only be used in designated marked spaces in the following downtown parking lots: Central Street, Foster Street, Mill Street and Nicholas Lane.
