Carjacking Suspect Back in Court Sept. 5

, is facing charges of carjacking, larceny of a motor vehicle, two counts of assault and battery by a dangerous weapon and four counts of larceny of property over $250 after the Tuesday incident which began on Goodhue Street. He was arraigned in Salem District Court Monday.
He is being held until his Sept. 5 hearing, according Carrie Kimball-Monahan of the DA's office.

Morales has a warrant for his arrest on Peabody charges, Monahan confirmed Wednesday afternoon.
