Caller Reports Dog Stolen at Trailer Park on Route 1

The following is an excerpt from the Peabody Police Department's log:

Tuesday, Aug. 13
2:05 p.m. a caller reported an motor vehicle accident at the Salem Five Savings Bank on Central Street. 
2:29 p.m. a caller reported that someone hit his motor vehicle in the parking lot of the North Shore Mall and left without leaving a note. 
2:40 p.m. Ulta Cosmetics reported a shoplifter at the North Shore Mall. Police arrested Anthony Melanson, 32, of 3 Beechland St., Roslindale. Melanson was charged with shoplifting by concealing. Melanson was also banned from the mall for 5 years. 
2:42 p.m. a caller reported a cement truck leaking cement on Pulaski Street. An officer could not locate the truck. 
4:15 p.m. police responded to a report of a man forging checks from his checking account on Woodlawn Avenue. The man was summonsed with several different charges involving the forging of checks. 
5:44 p.m. a caller reported that someone stole her bicycle from a lock-up facility in the basement within the last ten days. The bike was valued at $600.
6:32 p.m. a caller reported that one of her friend's wallets was stolen from a vehicle parked outside of Sears at the North Shore Mall. 
9:09 p.m. a caller reported that someone stole her dog at the Mobile Estates on Route 1. An officer spoke with all parties and both feel they have the right to the dog and will follow up in small claims court.
