Argument Leads to Male Getting Stabbed in Shoulder With Knife

Police responded to a mobile home park on Route 1, following a report of a male who was stabbed. The wound turned out to be a superficial cut to the shoulder and police said it was a domestic situation.

Peabody police responded to a mobile home park Friday night after a report of person being stabbed with a knife.

According to scanner reports, there was an argument at the residence between two people that led to a male being stabbed in the shoulder with a knife. It appeared to be a domestic situation.

Officers and an ambulance responded to the scene at 266 Newbury St. Lot 27 shortly before 9:30 p.m.

According to scanner reports, the victim called police and did not appear to be in distress. The assailant was also reportedly still at the scene and the wound was superficial.

It wasn't immediately clear if an arrest was made or not.
