Exploring Pottery Workshops Offered

Have you wanted to get dirty?  Clay is the way!  The ArcWorks Community Art Center will hold three 2-session workshops focusing on techniques of hand building, to make your tableware!  Each workshop is $50 per person and includes all supplies and materials, plus you can make multiple pieces per class as time permits.

This workshop is part of a series focused on tableware that you can enjoy using your own creations: 

Workshop One:  Mugs - January 23 & 30
Workshop Two:  Serving Bowls - February 6 & 13
Workshop Three:  Serving Platters - January 20 & 27

Instructor:  Peter Flister
Peter is a graduate of the Massachusetts College of Art and holds a Masters of Education from Endicott College.  Peter is a member of the Rocky Neck Art Colony and the Lexington Arts & Crafts Society.  His ceramics are a fusion of Native American, Japanese and contemporary Western techniques, processes and forms.

The Peabody Cultural Collaborative objective is to unite arts and cultural organizations in greater Peabody, MA to better promote and celebrate the region's myriad cultural offerings. Through the cross-promotion of inclusive activities and events, The PCC partners strive to educate and engage all citizens, including children and adults with disabilities, in the cultural, heritage, and economic development of the area. Formed in 2010 and incorporated in 2012, The Peabody Cultural Collaborative is comprised of numerous cultural and arts organizations in the city.
