NSCAP Finds a New Home

North Shore Community Action Programs, Inc. (NSCAP) provides social services that enable low-income families and individuals to obtain the skills and knowledge they need to become economically self-sufficient, civically engaged, and to live in dignity and decency. NSCAP is a private, nonprofit organization.

Today, the Peabody Area Chamber of Commerce was pleased to celebrate their  new office location at 119R Foster Street in Peabody.  Formerly, NSCAP's services were housed in several different buildings scattered throughout Peabody square.  The new expanded space allows the NSCAP to coordinate programs under one roof.

More than 12,000 people from across the North Shore benefit each year from NSCAP services. They are low-income individuals and families working to make ends meet or facing a period of crisis in their lives

Through a range of innovative social services that fall under the following five program areas, NSCAP helps people find the stability they need to rise out of poverty.
