Where is the Pride In Peabody?
We have all read about the hideous billboard on Lowell St. We have heard our city councilors express their dis-pleasure on this subject. Often referring to the "Quality of Life" in Peabody.
What the public may not know is: The future billboards off Rte.1 are to be constructed on City owned land! See the recent City Council communication below:
Request for vote from City Council: Authorize the Mayor to enter into a
lease agreements on two city-owned sites for outdoor advertising:
Parcel #1 @ 3 Newbury Street (088/009) and Parcel #2 at
0 route One 95/128 (089-006)
