Obituary: William W. Howell, Jr., 54, Raised in Peabody

William W. Howell, Jr. 54, of Nashua, NH, and formerly of Peabody, died suddenly Tuesday morning. He was the husband of Denise (Bullock) Howell of Pembroke, MA.

Born in Bethesda, MD, he was the son of the late William W. Howell Sr. and Marilyn (Armell) Howell. He was raised and educated in Peabody and lived in Nashua, NH for the past 14 years.

After high school, Bill enlisted with the United States Army and was honorably discharged.

Bill was currently employed as a machinist for DevTech in Amherst, NH. Bill was a member and officer of the American Polish Club in Nashua. He also enjoyed playing pool and darts.

Besides his wife, he is survived by two son, Sean Howell of Salem and William Howell III of Nashua, NH, his daughter, Samantha Howell of Nashua, NH, his brothers, Erin Howell and his fiancé Cynthia Degeis, and Michael and his wife Susan Howell, all of Lynn, his sister, Angela and her husband Gregory Lane of Gloucester, his granddaughter, Shayla Howell of Salisbury, his stepchildren, Maria and Michael Currie of Pembroke, and was the former husband of Betsy Howell of Salem. He was predeceased by his second wife Stephanie (Budgell) Howell and his brother Shannon Howell, along with many nieces and nephews.

His Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday at 10:30 a.m. at the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home, 82 Lynn St., Peabody, to which relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend. Visiting hours will be held on Tuesday from 5 to 8 p.m. Burial will be in Walnut Grove Cemetery, Danvers. A Memorial Service will be held on Thursday April 10 from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. at the Main St. United Methodist Church, 154 Main St., Nashua, NH with a reception to follow at the American Polish Club, School St., Nashua.
