Obituary: Joseph M. Pirrello, Sr., 49

Obituary from the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home:

Joseph M. Pirrello, Sr., 49, died unexpectedly on Friday March 28, 2014 at his home, following an extended illness.

Born in Malden, he was the son of David A. Pirrello and the late Dorothy (Chamberlain) Pirrello. He grew up mostly in Peabody and graduated from Peabody Vocational High School.

Mr. Pirrello was an independent contractor who operated his pool installation business and a carpentry business.

He was an avid New England sports fan and a great drummer. He liked to make framed family collages and listen to music as some of his many hobbies. Joe was a kind and giving man who was loved and will be missed by many.

He is survived by three sons and a daughter, Joseph M. Pirrello, Jr. and Michael Dame, both of Beverly, Christopher Dame of Weare, NH, and Meaghan (Pirrello) Fogleboch of Charleston, SC;  six grandchildren, Joseph Pirrello III, Logan Pirrello, Zaydria Dame, Jada, and Angelo Degges, and McKenna Fogleboch;  his father, David A. Pirrello, Sr. of Peabody; a brother David Pirrello, Jr. of Beverly, and several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Relatives and friends are kindly invited to gather on Thursday April 3, 2014 from 6 to 8 p.m. in the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home, 82 Lynn St., Peabody, with a Spiritual Service at 8 p.m.  Burial will be in Puritan Lawn Memorial Park, Peabody on Friday where relatives and friends are also invited to gather.
