Obituary: Dale E (Deon) Kasper, 55

Dale E (Deon) Kasper, 55, of Peabody passed away early Friday morning at Mass General Hospital due to complications from a brain aneurysm. She passed away in the presence of her loving husband Thomas Kasper, with whom she shared 29 years of marriage.

Raised in Swampscott, she was the daughter of Frances (Surette) Deon and the late Ivan G. Deon. She graduated from Swampscott High School in 1976 and went on to attend Marian Court College. 

Dale was well loved by her fellow employees, friends, and customers at Pudgy’s Towing & Auto Repair Inc. of Lynn, a family business which she owned and operated with her husband. She was commonly referred to as “the nice lady on the phone/in the office." Previous to working there she was a bookkeeper at Radio Component Corporation on Eastern Ave in Lynn.

She was an avid gym member who loved to go for walks and shop. She enjoyed spending time with all of her family and friends, including traveling and relaxing at her camp on the lake in Maine. 

Dale leaves behind her husband Thomas, her daughter, Jennifer and her son, Jonathan and his fiancé Amber of Amesbury. She is also survived by her mother, Frances, her sister, Marlene, wife of Lawrence Hayes of Connecticut, her in-laws, James (Pudgy) and Marvene Kasper of Nahant, sister-in-law, Linda Kasper of Peabody, brother-in-law, Robert Kasper of Arizona, her niece, Sarah Hayes and her nephews, Christopher Hayes, Treven and Tresten Kasper. Dale also leaves behind many close friends who she loved like family. She was predeceased by her loving father Ivan G. Deon.

Her funeral will be held on Wednesday at 9 a.m. at the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home, 82 Lynn St., Peabody, followed by a Funeral Mass at 10 a.m. at St. Ann’s Church, Peabody to which relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend. Visiting hours will be held on Tuesday from 4 until 8 p.m. and burial will be in Cedar Grove Cemetery, Peabody.  Expressions of sympathy can be made in her name to a charity of one’s choice.
