Obituary: Colton J. Buckley, 22

Colton J. Buckley, 22, of Waterloo, NY, and Peabody, died unexpectedly on Sunday April 6, 2014 at Geneva General Hospital, Geneva, NY. 

Colton was the son of Todd and Lisa Thorpe Buckley. He was born in Rochester, NY on April 7, 1991. Colton touched many lives in his short time with us and his presence in our lives is a gift for which we will always be thankful.

Colton loved his years at Bishop Fenwick High School, Class of 2009, and carried fond memories of his days on the track, cross country, & baseball teams where he won many team and individual awards. Colton also had attended Salem State University in Salem. His gentle personality and infectious smile will be dearly missed.

He is survived by his parents, Todd and Lisa Thorpe Buckley of Peabody, his daughter Olive Buckley of Marblehead, three sisters,  Kirsten Buckley and twin sisters, Ava and Leah Buckley of Peabody; a maternal grandmother, Mary (George) Thorpe-Jensen of Waterloo, NY  and his late grandfather Charles Thorpe; paternal grandparents Arthur & Judith (Massa) Buckley of Peabody; a  great grandmother Ida Massa of Peabody, and several aunts, uncles, & cousins.

Following cremation, relatives and friends are kindly invited to gather on Saturday April 12, 2014 from 9 to 11 a.m. in the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home, 82 Lynn St., Peabody. A Family Private Funeral Service will be held later.
