Anthony Giambrone, 65, beloved husband of Frances (Dukeshire) Giambrone of Peabody, died peacefully at his home on Monday April 21, 2014, while in the comforting presence of his family, following a brief illness.

Born in East Boston, he was the son of the late Joseph and Vita (Salvo) Giambrone. He grew up in East Boston, and mostly in Malden where he attended schools. He lived in Somerville for several years, and lived in Peabody for 26 years.

Mr. Giambrone was gifted in maintaining cars, and he loved his work as an Auto Mechanic with Lyons Tire in Peabody before recently retiring.

Anthony had a charming, boisterous and infectious personality, and loved singing Italian songs while holding court in his yard.  He enjoyed cooking because he loved social gatherings around his house. He had one passion for cars, and was proud of his Cadillac Fleetwood. His favorite passion was his family, and especially cherished his grandchildren. He will be dearly missed by those who knew and loved him.

He is survived by his wife, Frances (Dukeshire) Giambrone of Peabody, with whom he shared 43 years of marriage;  two daughters and their partners, Gina & Kevin Clary of and Kimberly Giambrone & her companion Stephen Saggese all of Peabody; a son Joseph Giambrone of Peabody; three grandchildren, Brianna and Brayden Clary and Stephen Saggese, Jr. all of Peabody; a sister, Sara & her husband Freddy DiCenso of Middleton; and a cousin Peter & Linda Salvo of Danvers.
