Susan Ring Brown, Director of Development at Northeast Arc, is pleased to announce that Randi Holland has joined the department as Development Officer. Her duties will include event management, grant writing, public relations and the creation of a Speakers’ Bureau for the organization. “Randi’s experience as a banker and former Chamber of Commerce Director positions her perfectly to forge new corporate partnerships for Northeast Arc,” explained Susan Ring Brown, Director of Development at the agency. “We are fortunate to gain a teammate with such extensive fundraising and public relations experience.”

A native and resident of Peabody, Holland has a Bachelor’s Degree from Lesley University, is a member of both the Public Relations Society of America and the Peabody Rotary Club, and is a Board Member of The Listening Place in Lynn. She has three grown children.

“Randi’s arrival allows us to fully utilize Cheryl Purinton’s marketing expertise in keeping with the goals of our strategic plan,” said Ring Brown. “As a result, Cheryl’s title has been changed to Director of Marketing and Communication.”

About Northeast Arc
Northeast Arc was created in the 1950s by parents of children with disabilities who rejected the assumption that their children should be institutionalized. Now serving over 7,000 people annually in more than 150 Massachusetts cities and towns, Northeast Arc is dedicated to helping people with disabilities become full participants in the community, choosing for themselves how to live, learn, work, socialize and play. The agency does this through a variety of programs, including Autism Services, Day Habilitation, Deaf Services, Early Intervention, Employment Services, Family Support, Personal Care Assistance, Recreation, Residential and Transition. The agency also runs the ArcWorks Community Art Center on Foster Street in Peabody. Northeast Arc is the largest Arc in the state of Massachusetts and the 4th largest Arc in the country.
