North Shore Patchers Give 5 at Haven from Hunger

It's Give 5 time and Patchers across the country are finding ways to give back in the communities we serve.

For the North Shore team, that meant heading over to Haven from Hunger in Peabody to produce a meal for 40+ members of our community in need.

Haven from Hunger, located in downtown Peabody at 71 Wallis Street, provides meals to more than 200 a week, and relies heavily on the community's support. Because they do not receive state or federal funding, meals (which are provided several days a week), are done solely through donations.

Check out Haven from Hunger's Facebook page to learn more about how you can help. Or, simply stop by their location with a bag of groceries. (Not sure what to bring? They're always in need of cereal, canned fruit, tuna fish, soups, pasta, sauce, and peanut butter.)

Plus, check out our video to see what Haven from Hunger's next big project is (it's a $1.3 million campaign!)
