Ripples of Influence and Hope: Celebrating Four years of Gathering Change

Annual meeting of Gathering Change, Inc. ~ details

The Fourth Annual Meeting of Gathering Change, Inc. will be held on Monday, Nov. 19, 2012, 7 p.m. at the Lynnfield Meeting House in Lynnfield, which is located on the Lynnfield Common (617 Main St.). All are welcome to join us as we highlight this past fiscal year and celebrate the ripple effect of compassion Gathering Change, Inc. has inspired within our communities. The evening will include speakers from the board of GCI and light refreshments.

Young, old and in-between can collect their spare change and donate it to Gathering Change, Inc. who in turn gives the money to community and social programs in the town where it was collected. GCI has offered many people in our local communities (individuals, families, students and groups of all kinds) an opportunity to give in a way that is manageable financially and also makes a difference in people’s lives. Because of the hard economic times in recent years, Gathering Change, Inc. has funneled its donations to food pantries.

As awareness of GCI and its mission has expanded, more and more businesses, faith communities and schools in an ever-increasing number of towns have been involved in fundraisers and food and clothing drives. Over 40 towns have benefited from donations by their neighbors through Gathering Change, Inc.
