Last Week to See 'About Hunger & Resilience' Photo Exhibit at Endicott College

"About Hunger & Resilience" is a photo/audio exhibit expressing what it is like to live with hunger.

Collaboration and Inspiration: Endicott College and Gathering Change, Inc. worked together to bring photographer Michael Nye’s photo/audio exhibit “About Hunger & Resilience” to Massachusetts. Both organizations’ commitment to community and hunger awareness was a consummate match for this project.

Nye traveled the United States for four-and-a0half years interviewing and photographing people who have been touched by hunger. This powerful array of 35 portraits and autobiographical monologues honors the individual’s stories as they explain how they came to experience living with hunger.

The exhibit will run at Endicott College’s Walter J. Manninen Center for the Arts at 376 Hale Street, Beverly till Nov. 4. The exhibit is free and open to the public. Spare change will be collected to benefit Gathering Change, Inc. for donation to Massachusetts food pantries.
