Community Update

This jeweler buys gold. I discussed it with him on one visit. When I went back to him to sell a 14K gold chain, he offered me a price that was nearly half of what it was worth as scrap gold. He also gave no receipt or documentation for the transaction, therefore I have no recourse to correct it. I would never sell gold there without first computing the true value and then negotiating. He seemed honest, but alas took advantage of my lack of knowledge and preparation.
