Dead Poet Slam

The week of Halloween, Peabody High's Poetry Collective gathered at the Main Branch Institute Library in downtown Peabody for our annual Dead Poet's Slam. Although the poetry slams usually include our own work, for the dead poets slam, we take poems from some of our favourite dead poets. We get in costume, and get in complete character. This year, some of our undead poets included Anne Sexton (Julianna Hart), Alan Ginsberg (David Marino), Sylvia Plath (Róisín Gilligan), Charles Bulowski (Ryan Cox), and Ted Hughes (Lucas Fernandes), to name a few.
