Share Some Family Favorites and History Behind Those Recipes

Interested in being part of a community cookbook?

Want to share your family favorites in a new Peabody community cookbook?

The , along with the , is hoping your answer is "yes." The finished product will be entitled “The Peabody Family, Place, Home Community Cookbook.”

The library announced the project Wednesday, saying it is in conjunction with the art center’s “Family, Place, Home” exhibit. The plan is to create an online exchange in which members of the community share their favorite recipes and any interesting family history behind those concoctions.

If you'd like to share, you can fill out an online recipe card at the library's website or drop your recipe off at the Main, South or West branches of the library or at the art center on Foster Street.

The deadline for submissions is Sept. 22. For more information, call 978-531-0100 ext. 17.
