Simon Malls to Bring Books to Life Through Simon Kidgits Club Book Blast Event at Northshore Mall

On Saturday, March 15, 2014 Simon Kidgits Club®
at Northshore Mall is hosting its free annual Book Blast event and
inviting parents and children to bring books to life through special read-aloud
sessions, giveaways and story-inspired activities.



 



Simon Kidgits Club’s Book Blast will provide families the
chance to make reading a fun, social experience with various kid-focused
offerings. Book Blast event activities will kick off with an exciting
read-aloud session presented by local author, Jane Sutton, author
of Don’t Call Me Sidney and The Trouble with
Cauliflower, scheduled
from 11:00a.m. – 1:00p.m. Children are also invited to
bring a new or gently used book to the event to be donated to Extended
Stay in Danvers and Econo Lodge in Danvers for families housed at these
local motels. Plus, Peabody Library will host readings and will be
offering Library Card sign-up, Jane Sutton will also be doing activities
and games related to her book as she reads, she will be signing books for
people that purchase them, share how authors write, and will be bringing some
copies of her drafts she’s completed and currently working on.
