Peabody Downtown Bazaar

Peabody’s next great annual event in on its’ way; on
August 24, from 9-5 the new Peabody Downtown Celebratory Bazaar and sidewalk
sale will take place.

            The
event is sponsored by the recently formed Peabody Downtown Association, and
Peabody Institute Library.  The mission
of the PDA is to promote an increasingly active community by helping to
stimulate and expand local downtown Peabody businesses through the
gentrification process.

            There
will be an appearance by former New England Patriots quarterback Steve
Grogan.  Refreshments and special
discounts for seniors, discounts from local retailers, face painting,
entertainment on the library grounds throughout the day, give-a-ways and raffles
from an array of vendors, and much more.

            Have a
great day with the whole family and come support local downtown businesses at
the same time.
