Cocktails & Community: A Tu B'shvat Celebration of the Seasons

The community is invited to Cocktails & Community- a Celebration of the Seasons. As part of our ongoing series, we will be celebrating Tu B’Shvat with a program designed for adults – rather than mixing wines, we will be learning to make four seasonal vodka infusions! Come for the mixology; come for the drinks and nosh representing the seven species of Israel; and come to learn about four local organizations working to strengthen our local food system and access to healthy food.

$25/person. In keeping with the Biblical tradition of counting the fruit-tree tithe from the 15th of Shvat, a portion of the cost of the evening will be donated to thefollowing organizations: Beantown Jewish Gardens; Haven from Hunger; Family Table program of JF&CS; and the Serving Ourselves Farm at Long Island Shelter. CSA sign-ups will also be available for the 2014 season, as Farmer Mike from First Light Farm will be joining us for the evening.
