Croce and Saslaw Face-Off in Ward 5 City Council Race

There are three contested ward races on the City Council heading into the general election next month.

Today, we focus on the race in Ward 5 between Bob Croce and Joel Saslaw. Neither man has held elected office before, although Croce has run before both for School Committee and the City Council.

The winner four weeks from now will succeed longtime councilor Dave Gamache, otherwise known as the "Mayor of Route 1." Gamache is retiring from office after 24 years.
