PHOTOS: Lighting the Menorah at City Hall

A public menorah lighting was held once again last week outside City Hall.

A small crowd congregated out in front of City Hall last Thursday with city officials and Rabbi Nechemia Schusterman to light the candles on a giant-sized Menorah on the front lawn.

The public display has become an annual event in Peabody in recent years.

Schusterman, the rabbi at Chabad Peabody, tells Peabody Patch that those who attended last week's event enjoyed hot apple cider, latkes, donuts, games, art projects and more.
