Only 1-2 Inches of Snow Expected Tonight
A mix of rain and light snow is in the forecast for Peabody over Tuesday and Wednesday,
Snow is in the forecast Tuesday and Wednesday for Peabody, but the National Weather Service says to only expect about 1-2 inches to accumulate. The high for both days is around 40 degrees.
Tuesday afternoon, the precipitation was still mainly just rain and little or no snow accumulation was expected. The NWS said snow is likely to fall before midnight, accumulating up to 2 inches.
There is the possibility of icy road conditions Tuesday night, as the temperature drops to around 28 degrees.
