It's Beginning to Look a Lot Like Christmas...

The Christmas Tree in front of City Hall is now in place and decked out, awaiting the tree lighting at this year's holiday festival.

Peabody is getting ready for Christmas -- there's a chance of snow again on Tuesday and Wednesday this week.

This year's tree -- a 30-footer -- was installed by the Park Department and decked out in its usual place in front of City Hall last week. The traditional glass enclosed Nativity display was also put out.

While there are lights on the tree and on poles and bushes around the front of the building, the lights won't actually be turned on until the 29th Annual Holiday Festival on Dec. 9 when Santa and Mrs. Claus come to visit.
