Yo'Gut Style Celebrates Grand Opening

The weather is certainly perfect for a cold treat, and in Peabody, you have lots of options now between ice cream and frozen yogurt.

Yo'Gut Style is serving up more than 100 flavors of frozen yogurt to create more than 200 combinations, plus a lot more to become what owners hope will be Peabody's new hip spot.

The shop's management, Mayor Ted Bettencourt and members of the Peabody Area Chamber of Commerce snipped the ribbon at the Lowell Street store on Friday. Yo'Gut Style opened its doors in May and is located in the same plaza with Home Decor and Perfecto's Caffe at 515 Lowell St.

Part of the target customer base are students, especially given the walking distance to Peabody Veterans Memorial High School down the street, and there's even added bonuses for students -- college scholarships and a free FroYo for any student who has a Grade Point Average of 3.75 to end the year.
